This project aims to investigate the alternative softeners (vortex technology and magnetic treatment) of process water. The focus is on the alternative softening of the cooling water for evaporative condensers, the starting water of the textile laundries and the cooling water used in the blanching of the frozen vegetables and potato processing plants.

Vlakwa is following this project as an observer in the user committee.
