The second IMETE summer course (Gent, Belgium, September 9-13) will focus on “Nanotechnology for Water Treatment”, in particular synthesis of engineered nanomaterials, their use in water treatment (applications in the drinking water production, wastewater treatment, desinfection and environmental remediation), their chemical and physical analysis, their fate in the environment and potential environmental impact.
