During this project combinations of ultrasound and additives on the removal of contaminants will be tested. These include among others soils with a very high concentration of mineral oil, dredged sediment, silt fraction of the soil washing bottom ash, sewage sludge contaminated with precious metal, slag. Lab-scale and semi-pilot-scale experiments will be performed. The project also includes an economic analysis.
